Step 1: Dig Deep in the Ground
In minecraft glow squid spawn only below Y level 63. That’s why players in Minecraft need to build a farm base below the height level of at least 55-54. The deeper the field the players build, the better the farm will work. The player must draw water from any underground caverns or rivers to easily improve the spawn rates of the glow squid.
The farm guide shown in the picture is made in a flat world, so players don’t have to build it like that on the ground. In a regular survival world in Minecraft, players have to farm underground.

Players must make a 9×11 field at a height below the Y level 55. The player must place a hopper attached to the chest, after digging the area.
After doing this the player will have a minecart collection system. Players must ensure that all rails are powered and that no redstone block is touching the hopper as it locks the hopper.

Step 3: Build a Floor Above the Collection System
Players must place magma blocks on top of the minecart system on the border. And then the rest of the area will be filled with any solid block, such as stone or cobblestone. This is for generating glow squid. After making a platform, surround the field with a wall of height 6-9.
Step 4: Fill the field with water
Once the player has surrounded the field, the player has to fill it with blocks of water, leaving the topmost layer. After doing this, players can also use kelp to turn running water into full water blocks.
Now the player has to cover the top layer with the slab. After doing this the player has to place the water on the 11-block wide edge. This running water will carry the shiny ink bags into the column of bubbles, pulling them down and sending them into the chest.

This is the final stage In this stage the player has to cover the top of the field with solid blocks. For this, players can also use tinted glass as the tinted glass blocks the light from entering. The player has to do this because glow squids are born only in the dark.
Along with glow squid, axolotl will also be able to spawn in this farm. These axolotls kill the helpless glow squid. Glow ink sacs dropped by glow squid will float upstream and enter the water stream and carry them to a collection system.
